With the weather very hot and sunny day after day, I decided it was best to focus on sea fishing and my friend Clive has a new small boat which we fished on from Clovelly.
The best fish we had frem the end of June trips was a smoothhound caught amongst the pollack - including my first on a lure - pouting, poor cod, and the obligatory lesser spotted dogfish. However, the was slight sea breeze so they were really enjoyable days.
(Someone had a wet lens!!!)
