Following our travels, I usually write reviews for well known sites, passing on tips and experiences as a non-angler, and as you will know, Keith writes about his angling adventures on his diary page. As the two activities are so closely intertwined, I felt it might be helpful if I pass on travel info to those who are considering visiting similar places. We use the internet for researching new locations but few angling/travel websites appear to cater for anglers/non-anglers who want to travel with members of their families. This feature on our website is designed to bridge the gap on what I refer to as 'compromise' holidays. This is when we travel as a couple or a family, sharing our mutual interests, and Keith still gets to fish and write about it. Hence the title, '2 Travellers, 1 Rod'.
Each experience is given a star rating of 1-5, 1 star being poor, 5 stars being excellent and if, following your travels you'd like to leave feedback, email me on siariverreads@aol.com
The reviews are subjective and no doubt your experiences will differ, so I will try to focus on the practicalities and leave the rest to you. Happy travels, with or without a rod.

The Reluctant Traveller - India Part II As far as I’m concerned, the mark of a great holiday is how much you want to go back and how soon. Our latest fishing adventure more than fulfilled my wish-list and as I write, I’m planning our return to the foothills of the Himalayas where Keith and his angling buddies fished the Ramganga for mahseer and the rarely-seen goonch, and we all experienced the beauty, thrill and mystique of Northern India.
