A Blank on the Torridge

I was determined to spend a session in March spinning on the Torridge for salmon. The river is normally a fly only water except for March when you can spin for salmon from 1^st to 31^st.

None had been caught so far so perhaps it was a bit optimistic for a novice like me to catch any, and sure enough I didn’t although the first fish was taken at Beam Weir downstream a week later.
