The Shadow on the Moor (Signed copy)

This book was privately published on the 25th July, 2005 to celebrate the Centenary of the book's illustrator, Denys James Watkins-Pitchford. The binding is high-grade burgundy leather and has been reproduced as near as possible to the 1967 fourth edition, although this was produced in buckram. (Just 200 copies were produced of the 1967 edition illustrated by 'BB' and this book was not sold but given to friends and family of the 10th Duke of Northumberland, whose grandfather wrote the original book). This book which is gilt-edged, has a silk ribbon marker and is presented in a matching buckram slipcase with thumb-cuts, has also been limited to 200 hand-numbered copies, with just 25 copies signed by the Ralph, 12th Duke of Northumberland.
