J W Young Rapidex II 4.5" Centre pin with pouches, box etc

This centre pin reel is manufactured in Redditch by J W Young, one of the world's great reel makers who manufactured most of Allcock's reels going back over a century.

The is a 4.5" diameter Rapidex II Model Y2450. It has a rear operated check, useful when threading your line as it is very free running, Front drag adjusted by a thumbwheel and quick release mechanism for the spool

It is in absolutely superb condition showing little sign of use and comes in its original box, sheepskin lined zipped pouch and material pouch together with model information.
