Apollo "Devon" tubular steel rod

At a time shortly after the Second World War when greenheart and cane were difficult to obtain, Accles and Pollack developed a technique for manufacturing tubular steel rods. Perhaps the most famous is the Taperflash, but this is the "Devon" in lovely condition.  It is 12' in three sections with agate butt and tip rings - it even has it ferrule stoppers.
