3" Fly reel in excellent condition complete with dry fly line This 3" trout fly reel fitted with a dry fly line circa #6 shows very little sign of being used. The reel has a drag adjuster in the form of a thumbwheel around the centre screw and an optional check on the reverse. It is in superb condition as the photographs show.
The reel comes with a protective pouch to keep it in such good condition

ABU Ambassadeur 5600AB in Original Box and Drawstring Bag This is a classic ABU Ambassadeur 5600AB with anti backlash system. This reel is still in its original box with leaflets, oil and weight and drawstring bag and shows no sign of use.
The reel is manufactured in Sweden as all the good ABU's are, and has a level wind, making it ideal for salmon spinning or lure fishing.

ABU Ambassadeur 6500 - C3 multiplierThis ABU Ambassadeur 6500-C3 was made in Sweden when these reel were at their best. Sadly the ones made overseas never seemed to attain this quality.
This reel is a 2 speed with ratios of 6.1:1 and 3.8:1 with a levelwind to prevent bunching. Line capacity is 400yds of 12lb, 220 yds of 20lb. This reel also has all the features required of a high quality reel; free spool, star drag, spindle bearing adjustments. As the pictures show, this reel looks as though it has never been used, and would be a great purchase for collector or for use.

Allcock Aerialite 3.75" Bakelite ReelThis Aerialite reel (the cheap entry to centre pin reels) was a successor to the wooden Nottingham reel from Allcock, one of the first plastic reels which is water resistant and never warps. This was ideal with braid lines, but with the advent of monofilament, the spools used to get crushed by the pressure of line stretch. This is an early model of 3.75" diameter fitted with an optional check on the reverse and a line guide.
